Supply Program inventory is inherently variable. While PalletStock and our retail partners provide estimates whenever possible, actual inventory received may differ from shipment to shipment.
Variability may include:
✓ Volume — The number of units, pallets, or cases per shipment.
✓ Product Mix — The assortment of merchandise within a load. For example, one shipment may contain a higher percentage of electronics while another may contain more home goods or apparel.
✓ Order Frequency — The number of shipments received per week or month may fluctuate based on inventory availability.
Supply Programs are designed for buyers who can successfully operate within these normal inventory variations. If your business requires highly predictable merchandise assortments, marketplace purchases may be a better fit.
Supply Programs are typically priced using a fixed percentage of retail value, a per-pallet rate, a per-truckload rate, or another agreed-upon pricing structure.
For example, a truckload with an estimated retail value of $100,000 may be offered at 12%–18% of retail value depending on the merchandise category, condition, and supplier requirements.
Supply Programs operate on a pay-as-you-go basis. Buyers are billed as inventory is released and shipped rather than paying for the entire program upfront.
Pricing structures vary by retailer, manufacturer, category, and inventory type.
Many buyers prefer to evaluate inventory before entering a recurring purchasing agreement.
When available, PalletStock may offer qualified buyers the opportunity to purchase one or more test loads representative of the inventory included in a Supply Program.
Test loads allow buyers to:
✓ Evaluate product quality and condition
✓ Understand merchandise mix and variability
✓ Validate resale performance and margins
✓ Confirm operational fit before making a longer-term commitment
After receiving a test load, buyers can work with their PalletStock representative to determine whether the program is a good fit or explore alternative sourcing opportunities.
